First beach foray.

Used by Q40 on the beach today for the first time this afternoon. Seemed to perform well as far as I can tell. A few coins and lots of bottle tops. Tried beach and jewellery settings as didn't seem to get any hits with coins.

Don't worry about it ...went out 35 times last yr to the local beach 12 times came away with nowt....cleared up a bit of rubbish ...tent pegs etc.. ended up with £35 ...something to do while Mrs swims though..
so far this year 15 visits and about £5.50 and 1st 18ct ring in 10 yrs of going there...so it not as all the fool tube vids make out ...the beach's arnt paved with gold....Mrs blames " contactless payments "in the beach cafes, etc so u dont need cash...

Hi bud,
Most programs use too much discrimination,especially now that modern coins have iron cores.Putting it into coin and jewellery helped because it runs less discrimination than coins only.
If I were you I would use the custom setting,cut back on the discrimination as much as you can and dig all good signals......you will find some junk but you won't miss much in the way of good finds.
