Got a deus today and the controller and coil have been on charge for a few hours but when I turned my controller on and unplugged the charger it’s still flashing as though there’s no charge I was told that 3 hours will fully charge it so I expected at least one bar. Do u reckon it’s a faulty battery?

Hello 'Adamjhc'

The Deus is not my territory (Philistine I know)! but you won't have to wait more than a few minutes for some good advice from an experienced user member. Regards ss47

Can you be clearer what is flashing?

The battery symbol is flashing empty but when on charge the battery symbol notches are systematically flashing

Charge it for a few hours. If there's a charge you will see black blocks in the battery icon. If they are flashing empty then it's not charged. Don't forget, the coil flashes all the time, it never sleeps !
If in doubt, call the retailer you bought the machine from.

You could try charging the controller separately with a single lead.
You might have a dodgy lead.
Got to be worth a go.

Is the coil paired to the remote, if not it won’t show wether the coil is charged. If it is paired it takes a few seconds to connect when you switch on the remote.

Thanks for all your replies. Seemed as though I had a dodgy lead. I switched to another one and a few hours later now has full battery.

Its back to the dealer as Iam sure that XP will replace your current faulty lead.
