ID please

Post by pengles » Sat Jul 14, 2018 8:20 am

Hi, dug this up a few days ago and despite a couple of hours on research haven't been able to find anything out. I presume it's Roman, but just can't quite make out the writing (old eyes). I would be grateful if anyone can help. Thanks.

Nice coin, beautifully photographed ::g

Any chance of a picture of the reverse? It’ll get you a fuller ID.

People, thank you so much. I was barking up the wrong tree as usual Sorry, no point in photographing the obverse, it's completely fried.
