Three Eddies and some other bits.

Post by Ten pence! » Sun Aug 12, 2018 6:51 pm

Had a cracking weekend, ever had a field that didn't really produce last year but the turn of the plough works wonders? Well that is what happened this time, I'm reasonably certain what the bottom three coins are but as ever Eddie pennies all look the same to me, as for the other two Items? Not sure about the beehive thing, but is the almost went in the scrap bin button actually a brooch of some description?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Oops! Should have mentioned found with a Makro Racer 2 in two tone on fresh stubble.

Now they are some nice coins ::g

Does make it hard when they are upside down though! The Charles is lovely.

I think the first one is a class 11 Edward II London penny, middle is Edward I class 9b - Canterbury & possibly Edward I class 4 - London. ::g
