Three Fours for the Q40

Post by cussler » Sun Sep 09, 2018 7:34 pm

Out with my Q40 on Thursday on stubble on on one of my permissions near Hull the soil is heavy clay and it has not rained for months ,the suns baked it solid,(you hope and pray that your first spade full has the target in it) Quest does surprising well in these dry conditions sniffing out the goodies with ease after few hours endered up with these three, in nine years never had a William IV coin then two in one day ,nice pair of Groats. The 4 Skilling not in too bad a nick seeing the sliver content of these was poor. Settings were Jewellery mode with sensitivity at 80.

William IV coins are rare enough, you don't see many on here so well done.

They're William 1111 aren't they? Nice finds, my Q40 loved the very dry soil for some reason. A good machine ::g
