A welcome day out ofter Cataract surgery

Post by arfur_sleep » Thu Oct 11, 2018 7:22 pm

Managed to get a couple of hours in this morning following cataract surgery. Was out with the XP Deus V4,11 Coil and on the deep setting with no alterations to the pre-loaded programme. The field was hard going due to it being ploughed so hard on the ankles. I did manage 21/2 hours and was nice to find something. It is hard clay type soil so it hasn't been too kind on the finds

Hello Arfur ::g Good to see you've got your 'eye in' so to speak and obviously comfortable operating
your detector following the surgery ::g The green 'lens' is probably a warning lamp 'ruby' from a tractor etc.
Edit:- A nice looking crotal bell which I hope rings otherwise it'll be a 'dead ringer' 8-|

I'll miss the next club dig as I'll be on the North Yorkshire moors for a few days. The weather forecast could be much better! Regards ss47
