Couple of silver coins 1= .925 1 = .5 silver content

Post by Giz » Fri May 17, 2019 9:30 pm

Had an afternoon on our local beach. With spring tides and a couple of days of north east winds, some more cliffs have disappeared but nothing in the way of cuts, however a few coins the best being a 1884 Victorian 3D and a 1922 George V 6D. Unfortunately someone else had got in before me and very kindly left their holes unfilled B| B| B| . Spent time in filling these. Still nice to be out. ::g Probably should have left the "George" in lemon juice a tad longer.

Lovely wee coins-sounds like good fun,
Apart from having to fill in somebody else’s holes ::g
