Metal Detecting

Anyone tried Treasure phones? I have just ordered a pair cause some of the US sites have given great reviews. Just wondered if anyone on here had a pair?

First I’ve heard of them,they do look well made.
The style reminds me of my wr700’s that I have set up on my e-trac. They are great but I find on ear phones uncomfortable.
The mute switch is a quality, clunky looking thing but I would worry about breaking it off in my bag while transporting. I expect they come with a hard case which would probably end up discarded to allow for more room.

They actually have 2 types of phones, the first from the video and another added that is over the ear cupped.

Got the headphones after a long wait and at least 4 emails - 5 weeks before they were sent

Anyways they arrived. No duty was paid which was a good starting point.

They are very well made, a nice weight and leather in the cups and over the head bits. They fit nice and snuggly and the PS4 unit clucks in firmly with a reassuring click. The unit that it slots into is very well made.

They sound great The toggle off switch is very useful if you want a quick break

Problems - they are hot and, after a bit of wear (2+ hours) they aren’t as comfortable as the WS5s. They start to hurt the ears.

So, to summarise, the supplier is slow and pretty unresponsive. The headphones are sturdy, well made and sound good but are not that comfortable for extended wear. If anything did go wrong you’d need to return to the US or get fixed locally.

I like them, but wouldn’t urge you to rush out and get a pair
