couple of hammereds for ID please.

Post by Spearhead » Sun Jul 14, 2019 2:17 pm

I found these this morning on pasture using a Nox 800. Field 1. The penny came in at 15, 4" deep and the halfpenny came in at 10, 3" deep.

I am sure that they are both Eddy's, probably 3 but I need help classifying them further. There seems to be something on the King's chest on the penny. Any help appreciated. The black and white image at the end is the same coin as above, I was just trying to show the mark on the chest better.
Thanks.

It was hard digging, on land that I have searched for years. I am convinced it's the Nox that is making the difference and I am picking up small silvers that I have previously missed with other detectors.
