PANIC !!

Liam has not got me down for food!!!

Earlier in thread I said -

"Bacon bap on arrival please, (and lunch if Tamsyn is doing lunch time to).

Tamsyn did a good job with the food last time, so sure it will be up to standard again.
"

I dare say that if she did over order I could even help out by forcing anther bacon or sausage roll down at some point :)) :))

Hi Liam,
I wanted to enquire if there were any spaces available on rally? I’m new to the forum but would love to attend.

If you could get back to me I’d be most grateful.

Regards
Dave

Good luck tomorrow everyone, if anyone wants to say hello I'll be in a dark blue Volvo v40 and most likely wearing a bright red waterproof jacket if the weather over the last few days is anything to go by!

Ignore my avatar, I'm not a cat in a tie, he doesn't like detecting.

Got down here at midday and the farmer Tony had already been very busy, cut grassed area for anyone camping, BBQ, portaloo in position, trailer van in case of snow :-O I am just about to put up a tent, place looks great. For those arriving .... if coming from the Cooksbridge direction then the turning into the track is just after the RED telephone box on your left, I will stick out a fluorescent jacket on a stick later, drive down the track, keeping to the right and so not into the Manor, then just keep driving through to the car parking area, there are five fields/meadows, divided by a wood, I will be on my mobile 07861380981, will be on sitetoday till around 8pm.
Camping tonight - text me to say you have arrived ok. Bottom gate may be closed over, so just open and drive through and replace gate.
Will be enjoying a pint at the Rainbow pub 1.5 miles away this evening, Liam :;@
Bring cash ... OooO

Hi Liam

So sorry, but something has just come up today that needs urgently sorting out tomorrow. So unfortunately myself and Mr Elusive will not be able to attend the dig tomorrow.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, I hope you all have a good day and hope someone finds that hidden hoard.

I had to leave early due to prior commitments, but a big thank you to Tamsin for all her hard work and delicious food, to Tony the farmer, a charming fellow who showed great interest both in the finds and a appreciation of the charity cause, and of course to the bloke who made it all happen - looking forward to the next one, Liam :). It was good to catch up with some old faces and to meet a few new ones. Looking forward to seeing the finds that came up this afternoon.

Here's my bits for the day. Georgian buckle, 17th century cloth seal, 20th century guano seal and a little button.

Thanks for the great day, Liam. Also thanks to Tamsyn for the amazing cakes/sausage butties and the landowner who was a charming bloke.
