I'm thinking about buying 1 for my Teknetics Eurotek Pro as I'd like a bit more depth and maybe help with the smaller thinner finds.
In reality do these coils actually do what they promote them to do over the stock concentric coil? If anyone has any experiences on any detector with these coils please do share as i dont want to waste money.
Thanks.

It not wise to ask for reports on this coil for other makes/models of detectors. They may work great on some machines, and are pointless on others.
The weight will no doubt be similar across all models, but how that affects the feel of the machine as a whole will of course vary with machine.
And the other obvious point you may not be aware of: bigger coils are for bigger targets, smaller coils are best for smaller targets. So if you're specifically targeting small hammered coins, it's likely the stock coil is optimum.
Also, the Eurotek operating frequency of 7.8kHz isn't ideal for small, thin, corroded old coins. Concensus of opinion is that machines in the 12 - 20 kHz range are best. For example the popular Teknetics T2 / Fisher F75, the XP GMP, XP Deus on 12 or 18kHz and many more.

I suggest looking at the Teknetics T2 Classic, or T2+. The new price of these machines was slashed a year ago, making them much more attractive. It's also affected the secondhand market price of all T2 models, there are bargains to be had if you keep your eyes out. The 5 inch DD coil is also good on the T2, and often comes along with secondhand bundles.
