Went beach this morning and it was high tide, found mostly coins and a fishing weight
Is it worth going again tomorrow morning at high tide again?
Any tips on where to start on the beach at high tide

I've had worse beach trips than that, some days not even coins or fishing weights. For the dry or near high tide, look for beaches that see large numbers of people on these hot days, hit the towel line and follow the tide out. Drops come from sun bathers and those who venture into the water.

Beaches with nearby amenities help, ice cream, seafood, chip stalls etc. Anywhere where change is needed, hit them early before the crowds turn up, or late evening. Speaking of crowds, if your beaches get surfers check if there are any surf webcams set up, you can see where people congregate without leaving home

Get out, dig = find stuff

summertime, holiday time so most likely a lot of people going t the beach and lose stuff like coins and even jewelry so yes this time of year is excellent to visit the beaches.
depending on your detector wet sand is always a good spot as things get moved by the tide, one day it is submerged, next day it can be within reach.

Personally, I wouldn't attempt to battle a high tide session (depending on how much beach becomes covered by the high tide) far better in my view to await the early morning low tide giving much more scope for an extended beach area search. This time of year, early morning sessions are recommended due to the possibility of clashing with holiday makers and sun worshippers

Cheers for the advice, only going to the one beach at the moment and during a high tide a lot of the dry sand isn't touched so I suppose its whether anyone drops anything today to find tomorrow morning

Like has been said about towel line and high frequented areas. But also look at the history of the beach….. if it is one of the UKs replenished beaches it changes things. Also check out old postcards and pictures on the net. This will show where people congregated in the past and you’ll also see high and low spots. Groins are a favourite for people to shelter from wind and can be productive. People are known to put clothes on them and stuff falls out of pockets. The Victorians liked bathing carts so check if they were used. Old sand dunes are mostly protected but again produce areas where shelter was sought. The sites of old streams entering the sea can be productive for older stuff.

The tide, generally, doesn’t stay in for long so hard sand below the towel line, especially this time of year, can be productive for modern stuff. If you have sand and not stone.
