Galloway hoard presentation at National Museum Scotland

Hi, There is an event/presentation on tomorrow at the National Museum Of Scotland. It is called- Hoarding Histories. Its a general discussion on hoards, and more specifically about the Galloway Hoard. It is on from 2.00pm until 4.30pm. I purchased a ticket but unfortunately i wont be able to make it. If anyone is interested and would like to go. They are welcome to have my ticket. Just give me your email and i will forward the e ticket.

An amazing hoard! I was fortunate enough to be there when it was uncovered (I wasn't the finder, but took lots of the photos) :D

A stunning find for sure but as i understand it alot of politics involved and legal issues,i wont expand on that but a stunning find non the less.

The NMS is certainly on a par with the BM, some of the Viking stuff is ridiculous!

Lovely city, great museum - had a lovely weekend up there for my 50th year and a large amount of the Galloway hoard was on display.
