Headphone Pairing

I've just purchased a brand new X-Terra Elite detector. Does anyone know why I cannot pair the headphones to the detector? I took the detector to the beach today for the first time. I just could not get them to pair up. After about six attempts, I just gave up, and used the detector without them. I did get them to pair up once indoors last week. I'm so annoyed, I've watched all the Youtube videos loads of times before buying the detector, so I am doing it corrrectly. Then my pinpointer started falsing Too! I came home so deflated.....

try factory reset the machine and then give it a go again

Thanks for your reply paul50, Yes I've successfully paired them up now. Probably another senior moment of mine!! I thought I had tried that. All is well now. DOH!!!

If you can buy your equipment from an MD shop the answer to your problem is only a phone call away, even when your on the beach!.........
