I think these are close
Double Looped rectangular harness buckles
circa 19th Century

Doh! I was just going to post the bottom one too. Not quite the same, doesn't look quite as substantial.

Thanks all, does look similar to the bottom one, did find it in the same place with another object that I listed the other day, a snake belt clip, that is 19th Century ?
