Well done Deano, that is pretty impressive considering what you say about the settings, im so drawn to the Minelabs for my upgrade. Keep everyone posted as you go, im sure people would like to see the results as you understand the settings more.
Kindest Regards
Adam

Well done mate some nice finds you winkled out there, looks like you are gonna get on well with the Sov.
Honestly now what is the weight like i have been so put of by minelabs with the amount of people saying they are heavy.
Do you hip mount he control box ?
I so wanna try a Minelab but just cant be unfaithfull to XP.s

Being dissabled this is a serious concern for me. I would have no hesitation in upgrading to a minelab (prob an etrac) rather than the allmost certainty of an xpgmaxx, if I thought they where light enough for me to swing all day.
I think I will need to accept the loss in depth of the xp for the advantage of lightness.

Thats the thing mate i had my right hand seriosly mangled in a printing machine and dont have much strength in my hand, altough i do like the xp machines for there lightness and abilities to get right in amongst the iron i do sometimes wish they had more depth, would really like a Deus but cant justify the price at the moment.
Sorry to highjack the thread.
