Looks much better John .......
I don't believe that mild cleaning affects the value of a coin....in fact most numismatists I've spoken to prefer them to look as it does now.....but then again I'm not interested in what a coin's worth....I detect for the history, not the monetary value....
Jim.

Agree. Not always about the bling...
To me, it looks better. That makes it more enjoyable to have, and to show people.

beautiful coin mate 8-> it wasn't so long ago that I heard you moaning that you had no where to detect and now you've found a really cracking hammie

8->
Its just a pity that you decided to clean it as unless you did it with soapy water only then I'm affraid that you may have de-valued it through inexpereince
It really looks to be in a very good condition and I fear that it has gone from being this much £££ to just £ only because you've cleaned it
value doesnt matter i dont detect for financial gain
.
