I have been lucky enough to have been given one of these detectors, serial 18154, fitted with a widescan laser coil. Completely new to all this, but will the above work on beaches? wet or dry sand?
Thanks in anticipation, Paul

It's a cracking detector for on land and the dry sand, it will cope a little if the sand isn't too wet, I.E. if the tide has been out for a while.
