Hi anyone in the Sale Area that could help find a wedding ring? Lost in M33 postcode. Please pm me for details.

Thanks Chris

It was a request to our club asking for help in a lost wedding ring.

Thanks for the kind words Chris. To be honest I didn't think there
was much chance of finding it when the owner wasn't sure if they had lost it
in the park or going to and from.
Anyway a very satisfying ending. ::g

Hi russ 1. It was a bit of a strange one this. What had happened was the husband had gone to the park with his young son while his wife baked a birthday cake. When I met up with his wife at the park she explained that her husband wasn't sure if he had lost the ring on the way to the park,in the park, or on the way home. Her husband wasn't able to be there because he had an important meeting that morning, so she could only explain to me what he had told her of the direction he had taken. At this point I thought not a chance of finding the ring. I decide to start at the edge of the grass where the lady had thought her husband would have walked. After searching for about an hour, there it was, I really couldn't believe it, I was gob smacked. I telephoned the lady, she came to the park and collected it. great result. ::g

One thing I would like to mention in case it helps others is that last year I was searching for a ladies ring in a small area. I spent about 3 days with no luck. A few months later the lady telephoned to say the ring had now been found - in the bottom of her gardening gloves.

The first thing I asked when searching the park was did your husband have gloves on. It turned out that he didn't because he had misplaced them.
Just something worth asking.
