Hi all, seen a add on flea bay for one of these, it is an ex display, only 40.00, thinking of buying it for my grandson, he is only 6 just wondered if it can be adapted, and if anybody out there has had experience of em, any replies would be welcome, cheers all the best Steve.

Hi Steve
Like yourself I'm also thinking of buying one of these for my 11 year old son, didn't want to spend too much as he tends to drop interests quite quickly.
They do look quite impressive detectors for such a keen price [ price includes delivery too - bargain! ] - certaining a lot better than the real toy ones you see for around £20.00.
Hope someone can tell us a bit more about this machine as they do seem to be selling well on fleabay but not many reviews of them about.
Rab

Thanks for that Kmarsh appreciated, Hi Rabb, I think at this price it,s not bad at all, they feel as though they have grown up one, and who knows they can still find stuff!, and enjoy being out and about, as you say it has to be better than the toy ones that come out at near enough the same price with postage, thanks for the replies lads, all the best and good hunting, Steve.

I got one of these too, it seems to cut out and not detect for a second, making a noise as of the power was going on and off but it isn't as the lcd display for the sensitivity etc stays on

got it mainly for my wee boy but its disapointing. Hope yours worked out better.
