Took Tomo's advice and spent an hour in the recommended spot - and was very pleasantly surprised!

Minnie ball's date from around 1850, musket's anywhere from 1600s upwards i think ::g

Looks like you had good little session. Did you find the bullet complete, if you did it need's disposing of. you don't want that going off in the house when it dry's out ::g

Yeah it was a live round - popped down the cop shop on the way home (I certainly didn't want it in the house full stop). Cops advised me to just chuck it back into the sea next time lol!

Lol sounds about right. I just rebury them alot deeper
