Took my Ace 250 down to my local beach yesterday , pulled my first silver coin and then two more. A 1926 sixpence , 1936 shilling and a 1922 threepence. Also 3 pound coins :D . I have only been detecting for a month , so am delighted. A big thanks to Beany bot , I used the settings he posted in the Garrett forum. The beach is periodically cleared by bulldozers , I worked the newly exposed sand , close to the mounds.

Strange what finding a bit of silver does.... prior to finding my first piece I was detetecing maybe once a month, ever since I am down the beach every possible opportunity I get! It reassures you that you are searching in the correct place and no doubt there will be many more to come :D

Nice find, well done ::g
