Two hours out

Had the urge to wander down the beach tonight, after an eleven hour day, coming home and feeding kids, general tidying and the washing up :(
Got there about 9pm,enough to see although the tide was low at 11.30 so didn't get right down the bottom..
Had a lovely evening,no rain(result) for a change and back home by half ten..

I started detecting on the beach, but since I've had a couple of hours there this week,I've realised how much I've missed it.

A couple of old pennies, some new ones and modern half pennies,a five pence and a girl guide badge..not to bad for the time I was there and also down in the wet cos I hate the dry stuff..
All found with the explorer pro.

Nice little lot Dave. Was gonna have a wander down but think I might have broke my arm at work and with the other having a pulled tendon I would been wasting my time lol. Least you managed to get out for a couple of hours ::g

Any trip out that produces round coiny things & badgey broochy things too is a success by my standards, good work yellafella! ::g ::g ::g ::g ::g

Just returned from a playground to play with DEUS v3 - this half hour result looked somewhat similar. 2.42 Euro in 7 coins.
And more valuable experience with the behavior of the new firmware.
Best greetings from Germany

thanks for the update olaf,,, nice to see that the germans are as lax withn their loose change as we are over here.... it never ceases to amaze me how readily some folk seem to divest themselves of their hard earned spondolix!!!

No wonder you never text me tomo, sounds like you not got a decent arm to do it with...I hope your ok mate and if the ctx gets lonely I can always take it out for you...just to hear the waves and get some fresh air you understand =))

Thanks for the comments everyone...I used to spend hours upon hours on the beach when I first started detecting but once I found land and joined a club I never really bothered... Strange really when I live two minutes from the sand.

Exactly the same or me janner..I've been down three times in around four-five days now,I'm not quite up to my mate tomo's standard just yet but realise how tranquil beach detecting is...I spend eleven hours a day working now,and after these short sessions feel like a new bloke ::g
