A Change Of Tactic Boosted Finds.

After the last session produced few finds,I decided rather than trying to find pre-decimals on my local beach I would instead go for more recent losses. The weather here has been hot and humid with little wind to stir the sand up so the fairly obvious choice for me would be Clacton which has been teeming with holidaymakers lately. An early start, arrived as the tide was in the early stages of ebbing so decided to detect on the west beach along the high tide area ending up with 22 coins (£1.29) and a lightweight ring that at first I thought was a cheap prize from the pier but on closer examination could see 925 etched inside confirming it was stirling silver.
