Southsea beach portsmouth

This has prob been asked hundred times but is it okay to detect southsea just don't want to show up and be chased off I do have the crown permit was thinking of possibly heading over for a bit prob End of aug now due to me going on leave shortly but may be worth a try.

The advice already given is as much as I can tell you, but I was brought up in Southsea and as a kid, I remember the beach either side of the pier absolutely chocker with holiday makers.
Not so much down the Eastney end, but right up to Clarence pier it has accommodated thousands of people through the years. One place I would try is under South Parade Pier, right up the back against the wall, this was always a favoured spot for a bit of Hows yer Father, with night club revellers, sailors etc (I wondered where that 2 bob bit went!) rl; I find so as not to attract attention, do the beaches just before dusk. i go to southsea by the pier quite a bit and all i see down there is fishermen and litter pickers,they dont say anything to me when im down there with my detecter...
