Guarantee confusion

Post by Bazza »

Hello everyone

I have just changed over to a new Gmaxx power , seems to be a good machine.
One thing I have noticed when looking at the paperwork is that the guarantee return slip in the box
States that it has a 5 year warranty. The handbook with it say,s 2 year warranty ?????

Anyone any ideas what's correct. Thanks in advance.

I think it means that the place that supplied the machine will honour for 2 years, where as the makers of the machine will honour 5 years...
I presume after 2 years you would need to contact the maker of the machine rather than the shop that sold it....
I think......

Its a matter of legal terminology, between a guarantee and a warranty, its explained in this link http://www.ageuk.org.uk/money-matters/c ... d-to-know/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Fill in the 5 year warranty and return, it gives you extra protection. Hope this helps ::g
