Out at last!

Finally made it to the beach for the first time this year and found an area where some deep buried sand had been exposed during clear up work after the storms. Came up with 43 crusty coins (for £7.33 in spends plus a couple of pre-decimals), a dog tag and ring. The ring had me going for a moment as I got a flash of yellow, but unfortunately it was just a kiddies plated thing. Got a soaking, but great to be out again at last

Well done
you have a good haul there.I had a similar situation a while ago when part of the sea wall was being repaired.They dug the sand out to a depth of 6 feet,I found several pre decimals but they all had the dreaded bronze disease.
