Tried Lytham St Anne's a couple of times. Much of Lytham ( for example by the Windmill) is a bit marshy. There was a stretch at Fairhaven Lake I did, but had more success further along at St Anne's near the Pier where there is a proper beach. Also Blackpool South shore is only a few minutes up the road, which gives you more options. Good luck.

Done north of the pier a few times from the end of the car park up and it was all trash foil, bottle tops, tent pegs etc. Although I am limited on the beach with my euro ace. Blackpool will probably be the best option if you have a good beach machine especially after the recent storms Good luck
