Metal Detecting

Had a few hours Saturday hoping for another bit of yellow but was a fun digging session. Also come across this cuckoo ray stranded on the beach Friday night but managed to get it back in the surf

for fish rescue!

Nice fish.. Remember the huge Manta Rays from Australia.. Beautiful fish they are..

A good session and a bit of wild life rescue, perfect day, well done

That's strange cos someone from another north east beach posted a picture of another cuckoo ray that was beached today

Good digging there Tomo and excellent job rescueing the Ray - never heard of a Cuckoo Ray before so thanks for posting . Did the same for a massive (and I do mean massive ) Bream at Westminster. A few years back I decided to have a couple of hours on the foreshore after a meeting (10.30pm finish) and the Bream had got caught out by a fast outgoing tide and was lying on it's side.
