Whites Classic SL

Has anyone used this machine ?? and what is its capabilities ..is it farm or sea ...???..I would like to hear from people who know please ...thankyou


If I was to live to over 300 years old , would I end up in a museum ?

It's a very good low end Whites. Works well in the dirt and dry sand. Not good for wet salt sand.

yeah all in all its a ok detector ,deepest it will go is about 8 inches at a push ,but then again most coins are found in 4 to 8 inches range normally anyway ,good little starter machine :) it found me my first hammered(edward 1st long cross) many years ago ,has a very good recovery time between targets ,battery life is very good 40 hours plus i found

denarius=7
silver coins=87
you lucky,lucky :)

thanks roady M8.....yes about 8in but I have found a penny at 12in...and your right about the battery life ....not tried the beach yet .....any good ??? :)

Very good machine, well designed, good engineering there classic, although old, there still into the top ten, thats when machines were hand built, my opinion, far as build, up to top end test equipment.

its not bad on the beach gregg ,did,nt seem to have any problem with regarding black sand :) seemed to work great for a starter machine ,and unlike alot of these cheap starter machines that are digital no eratic behaviour at all :) but its a analog machine so no mutlitone ,no depth reading on it, not that i,ve ever used that anyway lol :D
