Thin gold chains are hard to find with most beeps some worse than others on the beach.

Hi

I use a cs4pi on the Beach in South Devon and find it's very good on wet sand.

Good luck

i think most detectors will miss gold chains as you never see any posts on here of anyone finding any on the beach no matter what machine they are using, plenty of rings but never chains

4PI good on the beach with gold? I bought my 4PI just under two years ago. In that two years i have dug up about 50 kilos of lead, countless hair pins, aluminium blobs, bullets and misellaneous metallic plethora. Gold - £ 2500, silver £150, valuable coins- £550. Cost of detector £255. Do the math.

very few machine will be fine gold chains
do not forget that the sensor only see one chain links

some pulsepowers the V2/V3 goldquests are very good for
explore XS2, aslo ..........

for fine jewelry requires a very low pulse delay

one of my chains rarely found in PI
without a medal of course

Probably the best value for money machine you can buy. I love mine, easy to use and deep. I had a silver chain last year, though it still had a St. Christopher on it. Strange as it was still fastened ? They hold their value quite well , its all plusses, nuff said ::g

ive got a dualfield pi and that's not good on chains, but good on all other gold, apart from a bit of depth the cs4pi is not a lot different

I bought a cs4pI machine two months ago, they go deep so be prepared to dig a lot, you have to dig every signal but you will find plenty, good luck mate, ::g
