the beast is untethered

So heres the latest on the beast ... its been untethered from its restraining wires..
Let it out for a sniff around the back garden.. but restricted it to 2 GMP as advised...
It was a bit scratchy at first, making a few complaining noises, but soon settled down to the job
Didnt get to do any digging but threw a few scraps out to see how it reacted...
It loved the gold ring at 80...
But unlike the AT Pro couldnt really tell the difference between small milled silver and old coppers ... all the mid 80's.
Thank-fully it didnt like the lead button which came in a solid 74, so i have no excuses if i get lead poisoning!!
It threw a complete wobbly on the radiate!!! and threw back a mid-40's at me ...
As i dont have any hammies to test, I'm not sure how it will react, but hopefully I will find out one day!!
The headphones and remote are now currently at rest... but i have been unable to find an off button for the coil, and was wondering if will need "feeding" more regularly than its other bits??Tomorrow morning I'll be taking it out into the wilds and letting it off its leash, I'm hoping that it behaves itself and doesn't run out on me!!
