Metal Detecting

Meet up with Ian Scratcher from the forum had a few hours on the beach first trip for a long time to the sands.Ian found four silver rings,and nice silver charm and part of a silver chain plus modern coins.He did well as i think it was his first trip to a beach took a few pics was misty at times lost sight of him in the mist.I had three silver pendents one silver chain and a nice gold ring plus modern coins.was cool to meet up with Scratcher and have a day out had a go of his Minelab was surprised at the weight was a lot lighter than i thought it would be and well balanced.

Hi yes still got it used the Sov Gt all metal we were at the beach i meet you at made a change from the fields there was one other guy there as well the sand was very spongy but we did ok for the time of the year.

Lovely ring ... I see a mention of 'all metal' - I use the Elite - is it a good tip to use all metal on the beach?

Will do again soon thoroughly enjoyed mesel but was knackered today( I'll remember me tablets next time!) 3 silver rings a silver pencil thingy with a skull on a lovely lickle telephone charm and a Chain as well as £10.14 in spends and a couple of pre decimals? No Ian he ant ploughed the fields yet so will be home this weekend hope he does them next week as it is dry.

Hi Nap i always search in all metal i find it a lot better at hearing the deep signals,and only use the disc mode to sus out some signals.

Hi Bob yes it was found a few bits and had a meet up need to have a all night session like i did last year with some members on here.
