Metal Detecting

Hi all!
At the moment I use Detector pro Waders on one of our 400 beaches in Cornwall as they run silent until a target is located.
Does anyone know of a detector that also runs silent, I have a Minelab Explorer for land use but I find the noise irritating after a couple of hours use.

if its running silent you are missing targets, you need a bit of threshold on so you can just here it, that way you will here more targets

Yes all that chirping used to give me a headache which I personally found unbearable on the e-trac so I reduced my threshold hum down, you can reduce it to silent but as already mentioned you could miss those deeper fainter signals, maybe reduce it to a happy medium

wont do your hearing any good with that buzzing in your ears ,many already have tinnitus so you can make it worse
