Metal Detecting

Hi Everyone!

Ive got a holiday booked to Punta Cana in the Domincan Republic (private resort) in June and I was wondering if anyone had any first person experience of traveling there and doing some metal detecting. I'm really tempted to take my ctx with me and do some water hunting. Any advice/information would be greatly appreciated!

I believe that Leslie (nova scotia) goes there for his hols and detects there. Check his posts or he may post a reply.

Just check you can take your detector through customs. They can get a little twitchy about that sort of thing.

Thanks guys hopefully I will get some good info. Customs is my main worry really but I speak the language so hopefully I would be able to explain what it is and what it does.
