No display screen?

Went out for the third time with my ctx and when I switched it on no display screen! It played the tune and sounds off but the screen is completely blank, have I done something wrong? Or is it a faulty machine , I have tried changing the battery, doing a factory reset all to no avail and to add insult to injury I am on holiday
Any thoughts chaps do I send it back to crawfords?

Happened to mine last year and know of a couple of others. As far as I can remember it's the plug that plugs into the screen board melting or something

It's my kind of luck mate,we bought a new motor home and had 22 faults in 20 months, swapped to a caravan and spent the first day with no gas untill we could get an engineer out who found a new safety mod that had been fitted but not included in the caravan manual
I'm afraid when it comes to technology it's sods law as far as I am concerned, if it can go wrong it will go wrong!
