Metal Detecting

Finally sorted myself a detector after well over a year of borrowing other peoples. Tell the truth I've been saving and couldn't make my mind up my head has been in tatters for the last few weeks.
So I have got myself a explore xs never used a minelab before, so I went through all the reviews on here plus YouTube and found this is a great machine and came in on my budget.
I've got a huge learning curve ahead so I'm sorry to say I will be asking loads of questions on her,

Here is my first one,

I want a new coil maybe two? There are loads!
I am mainly doing pasture at the moment but end of August like most people I will be on ploued then back to pasture so what coils would you recommend?

13" Ultimate coil is King for pasture and it's weight is very good too.

How are you getting on with the explorer .
I've just got a second hand xs and can't wait to get out once the rain stops

may I ask why you went for explorer xs ? explorer SE would have been a better option as to coils a 10inch standard or pro would be a good move
