1st day with Deus and a hammered

Took the Deus out for the first time this morning on a club dig. Started in Basic 1 and later switched to GMP which I somehow preferred. B1 was very quiet-perhaps more discrimination? Nothing was found apart from shotties so me and a mate hit one of his permissions on pasture. Within 30 seconds, I had a sweet signal in the 70s (on GMP) and out popped a 1582 Lizzie threepence at about 3". Ten minutes later, out came an 1807 penny. Really pleased with the machine and looking forward to the next trip.
