The later Deus have a 5 year warranty so you will need to check?
Warranty to the best of my knowledge is transferable but you will need proof of purchase from the original owner. (original receipt)
All updates can be done through the computer, Microsoft software only.

I managed to get a used 9" ws4 and was wondering g does the software not matter with the lite version and only when you have the remote.
Also I have been looking at getting a remote from eastern Europe that's in English for €460 +pp from Lithuania has anybody done this .
Thanks

Its a major purchase price-wise.
Its worth considering the extra for peace of mind by purchasing in your own country should you have a future problem with the unit.
That way help is only a phone call away.

You can get one in the UK for £499 and most dealers will match this price..
I would't pay any attention to the extra programs as these can easily be added and the one's currently loaded will probably need tweaking for your ground conditions anyway...
To consider a second hand one for me it would have to be around the £400 mark...
