If you have no discrimination then you are effectively running in All Metal.
You would then use the audio tones to differentiate between targets.
If you have deep on make sure fast is off.....the two filters fight each other and slow things down.
There is a bit more about functions etc on this field test. https://www.minelab.com/__files/f/9342/ ... Report.pdf

As above.... I set the tones so iron "squeals" ...not to be confused with high conductors that have a smoother high pitch. ::g

With no discrim iron is "hard left"..... high conductors top right..... foil & alloy "bounces" along the bottom of the screen..crosshairs are jumpy but I still dig it as some hammered are also "poor" alloys.

Gold, silver & lead nice solid signals in the bottom right quarter or so.

Eventually you will learn the "clean" iron signals and when there is a non-ferrous target next to/amongst iron.

On an iron contaminated site you can use the iron "squeal" as your threshold and listen for the "bumphs & marpphs" amongst it. ::g
