Detecting does have that soothing quality. It slows you down and gets you out in to nature. When people quiz me about money I internally roll my eyes, there’s more to life than money.
“Have you found any gold”? “Dug anything valuable today”? “Where’s the Sovereigns”?

It’s easy to understand why. It’s a form of meditation; it involves physical activity, mental concentration as well as being outdoors, often surrounded by nature.
Finding even the most insignificant object is still a direct connection to another human from the past.

With his mental state plus alcohol and drugs in the mix he must of been in a very, very deep hole. Lucky for him he managed to pull himself out, many don`t. I would of thought no easy job. I`m sure he must feel very pleased with himself who would`nt?.....Good luck to him.
Lets hope someone with similar circumstances can lake a leaf out of his book.....![ThumbsUp [81/]](./images/smilies/81_EmoticonsHDcom.png)
