Four on the same bit of beach!!.....

Post by KevinB »

Hi All,

This morning took a drive down to an out of the way section of a massive local beach. Never seen another detectorist in this area, however, this morning two within a 100 yards of me walking on. No problem just got set up and "hello mate" look around number three... [49/]

Done to death or a bit of competition I love it makes me sharp. No shortage of signals infact plenty. Thought for a bit of sport I would follow "hello mate" down the beach and see what he missed and sure enough a few bits came.

Two and a half hours later got probably pretty much the same as if I had had it to myself. I have hammered all of the beach for the last four years and it still gives a few bits.

Ended up with a few coins, fishing weights, ordnance and 40/50 bits that went in the bin.....

Good luck and have a great Easter........ [81/]

You did a damn sight better than I did. The recent winds have buried the productive spots and just to rub salt in the wounds the bulldozers are back too. [20/]

Thought I timed it just right recently with the bulldozers on Hayling... They were reshaping the beach big time. Waste of time......... [84/]

Give it a spin. Once you start tapping into them it is good fun. The sea air can give you a buzz that you don`t get from land (okay on the gold different..... [49/] )

Good luck...... [81/]
