Help required on a silver ring please

Post by 12GoldBars »

Hi
I found this silver ring on a pasture field with my minelab safari earlier today. It was about 6" deep & gave a reading of 36 ish.

Could anyone tell me what the stamp is all about? I have never heard of 9 CT silver (that's if I've read it correctly!) Also, could someone please tell me who the maker is. I've had a look at Birmingham & London makers but they don't make rings

I don't know how old this ring is but the field has held agricultural shows since about 1830. It maybe just modern tat!

Thought I best ask. Thanks for looking.
