One most likely dolphin fibula and a badge ?

Post by emily_ok »

Hello all, was very very lucky this week in finding what I'm almost positive is a roman dolphin fibula or possibly a trumpet brooch! Staffordshire England, have been twice before and found nothing, friend found a few hammered but am quite pleased to say the least. Also found this badge/brooch the last picture shows where some of the porcelain had cracked off although I've managed to save some and might attempt to put it back together, haven't cleaned yet. Let me know when and where you think it's from, was in the same area we have found Victorian coins so I'm guessing that era. Thank you! [81/]

The brooch has guilloche enamel and is most likely around 1900. The brooch look like a dolphin one to me too. [81/]
