Three hammies for ID if possible please

Post by Mick James »

Found yesterday in stubble field on a Gloucestershire.
One of my guests on my dig found the short cross cut half and the Eddy halfpenny. Later I wondered onto the same field and pulled up a very bent Eddy penny that straightened as well as could be expected.
Having compared our grid coordinates it looks like they were from a purse loss and therefore I had better run it past the FLO. The other finder has agreed for me to process this as a potential treasure find albeit of no significant value.

I reckon my penny is Eddy penny, Group 13 (c.1315 – c.1317) Edward 2nd but I’m more often wrong than correct.
Any help regarding the identity of all three would be appreciated by us and no doubt the FLO.
