Whites XLT LCD Screen replacement HELP!

My Whites Spectrum XLT screen packed up the other day, it had missing lines on it for a while. It is a common problem on these models but there isnt a lot of info on the net about people replacing them. I found one of these screens online, spec here: http://www.pvelectronics.co.uk/128X64_b ... 128x64.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and it is identical in dimensions and electronics. £14 I paid for it as opposed to whites wanting over £60. I have connected it up but no screen, the backlight works and I can dim it and brighten it by the shortcuts. Nothing happens when I invert the screen or adjust the angle.

Can anyone help? I have taken voltage measurements with the old screen connected, then the new one and there are differences in voltages which I can post if required.

The right display is the Powertip PG12864LRS-ANN-H (or PG12864LRS-KCN-H). I bought mine last year on Ebay and a friend of mine installed it monday for me. It works.
