I like the ingenuity of a lot of these carriers! Nice work. Is there any covers that you can get to protect the coil when the XP is in use? I just want to stop it getting scratched to much.

Well the coil have its coil cover I assume.. But take a look at this - http://xpdeusfan.free.fr/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
My own view on you questions is - I have the detector becaurse I like to use it.. Its not a show piece, its not a new car or something irreplaceable.. I take care of it and dont mistreat.. But there is a limit to everything..

No, there aint one...... if ya don't want to scratch it, don't use it....... agree with danziman ......
