Help finding ring, please

Hello All,

I'm new to the forum,

I have dropped my 9 Carat gold ring into the edge of a canal in East London, I know roughly the square foot it is in. I have joined the forum hoping to find any local detector enthusiasts to help me pin point more precisely, as I would love to have my ring back :-(
It's not a deep section of canal, I tried to scrape with a fishing landing net but to no avail.

Any help is appreciated, it's on the Lee River not far from Springfield park in East london

I’m not a million miles away from you , but my detector isn’t submersible either ,Someone on here may be able to help you though , Good luck
