Wonder if it makes much difference I'm happy.with my machine anyway. But seen a couple of these before wondered if they were worthwhile my technical know how peaked with putting the batteries in

Must admit I ve never seen or heard of one before...it looks to be a small amp that plugs in between the headphones and the detector therefore boosting the audio a bit???

I had a similar one years ago on my whites classic III and on my whites pro 6000xl only as i couldnt turn the volume up and down on my detector, brilliant at the time, though not sure they would be needed with the spec of most detectors nowadays

It does not give the machine more depth, it amplifies the volume to your headphones, give it a miss.
