With the wind hitting the beach yesterday I was down with the Equinox as soon as work would allow. Not much in the way of coins as I hit it hard last weekend an it's been empty of tourists this week but you just had to go! An was rather surprised to find this nice little chain an cross both hallmark 9k the other piece ( I'm not religious!) Seems to be marked 323 Italian 18k? it has a name an date on it an will see if anyone is looking for it. It was almost exposed by the wind an couldn't have been there more than a day but did give a very soft 18 on the nox . Funny thing is another Nox user had walked right over this, But he swings so fast his coil ends up a good six inches off the deck at the end of his swing! I tried to swing fast but my skinny arm just moves around in the rather large arm cup on the Nox so I swing rather slow!

Nice find,I'm interested to know what they ring up as on there own,as the target ID should have been lower.

I had a 9k gold chain with a cross on a few weeks ago and that came up between 15 and 18 on the Nox. I had a gold-plated ring last weekend which came in at around the same range as a pound coin (20-23).

Hi Spanish Digger, the cross on its own gave gave a 2 on the Nox but sounded good! The chain just about made 1 an sounded terrible on its own. The pendant made a lovely sounding 16 on its own. when I found them they were all in a tight bunch but gave a 18 but it was very quiet sounding signal.
